What to Bring with You

  1. Two duffle bags will be easier to handle than one big bag. Try to keep your bags at 50lbs or under, or there may be an extra charge from the airlines.
  2. Fishing tackle, including spare rod, reel, lines and flies  (see fishing page for types)
  3. Fly rods 8-9 weight system, single hand or spey, floating and sink tip lines, preferably 15 to 24ft, type 3,6, & 8 tips
  4. Fishing vest with hook file and needle-nose pliers
  5. Chest waders with felt soles and patching kit
  6. Camp shoes for evenings
  7. Warm pants and long johns
  8. Warm socks and gloves
  9. Warm shirts, toque or hat
  10. Good quality rain gear
  11. Flashlight
  12. Sunglasses, sunscreen, chapstick, insect repellent and bear spray
  13. Camera and film, a good book
  14. Personal toiletries and medicines
  15. Your favorite fishing DVD or videos to watch in the lodge
  16. Tobacco, liquor and mixes - camp does not stock these items.  Please purchase in Smithers the night before departure to camp

  • All fishing licences (which are government price set)
  • Assorted flies, hats, vests, t-shirts, mugs and cards
